Undergraduate Summer Research
Go to Applications
Part of the IPHRC mandate involves the support of undergraduate students registered in degree programs. Applications are invited from Aboriginal students whose undergraduate program is involved in any health discipline. The research projects of other applicants must coincide with the research interests of IPHRC. The selection of undergraduate students for these fellowships will be based upon the following criteria:
- Preference will be given to students of Aboriginal descent.
- Preference will be given to students whose research project coincides with the research themes of IPHRC. In respect to the four pillars of CIHR, these directions shall not usually include biomedical applications, and will explore only very relevant clinical applications. The emphasis will be on health research rather than medical research, and a community-based approach will be fostered and emphasized.
