All projects undertaken by IPHRC shall be in cooperation with communities and will emphasize capacity building of indigenous individuals, communities and institutions, and will require strict ethical provisions derived in consultation with the communities.

The Indigenous People’s Health Research Centre (IPHRC) is designed to foster a research environment to increase Indigenous health research capacity and participate with other such centers to facilitate the development of Indigenous health research.
